Event Description: Join us for a serene and rejuvenating hour-long yoga session at the beautiful Tewkesbury Abbey. Held on various monthly dates on a Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, these sessions includes a blend of yoga postures and meditation practices designed to harmonise your mind, body, and bring a sense of mindfulness to your day.

Experience the tranquility of the Abbey’s historic surroundings, including its stunning stained glass windows. These windows, dating back to the 14th century, depict intricate scenes and vibrant colors that create a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere for your practice. The windows in the chancel clerestory are particularly noteworthy, showcasing figures such as King David, King Solomon, and various prophets.

On occasion, we will also hold our practice in the Abbey grounds, allowing you to connect with nature while enjoying the serene beauty of the Abbey’s exterior.

Suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Please ensure you bring a Yoga mat as only a few will be supplied and wear layered clothing so you can adjust to the temperature in the Abbey as you practice.
